The Swedish Tourist Association’s Mountain Cabin is located in the Rogen Nature Reserve, b between Skedbro Mountain and lake Rogen. North of the cabin you can find Sweden’s only wild flock of Musk oxen, which are protected as a living nature reserve. The cabin is situated 17 km hike from STF Rogen or 21 km from STF Tänndalen/Skarvruet hostel. Here you stay at a classic mountain cabin along with other hikers. The cabin has neither electricity nor running water. You can not book accommodation but are welcome to prepay your stay antigen via the website or at STF Grövelsjön fjällstation. STF Skedbro offers simpler supplies in its shop. Here you can only pay with cash.
