STF Skedbro Fjällstuga

The Swedish Tourist Association's mountain hut is located in the Rogen nature reserve, high up between Skedbrofjället and Rogen.

North of the cabin is the country's only permanent tribe of Muskoxar, which are protected as a living nature reserve. Fjällstugan is a 17 km hike from STF Rogen or 21 km from STF Tänndalen/Skarvruet hostel. Here you live in a classic mountain cabin together with other hikers. The cottage has neither electricity nor running water, but the cottage host will show you where to go. You cannot book accommodation, but you are welcome to pre-pay your overnight stay either via the website or at STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation. STF Skedbro offers simpler provisions in its shop. Here you can only pay in cash.
