Fjällstugan is located in the Långfjället nature reserve, which borders the Rogen nature reserve and in the nearby Töfsingdalen National Park. The cabin is located well above the tree line at 870 meters above sea level and offers a breathtaking view. A summit trip to Slagufjället gives an overview of large parts of the Rogen nature reserve. Fjällstugan is a 22 km hike from STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation and a 17 km hike from STF Rogen. Here you live in a classic mountain cabin together with other hikers. The cottage has neither electricity nor running water, but the cottage host will show you where to go. You cannot book accommodation, but you are welcome to pre-pay your overnight stay either via the website or at STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation. STF Storrödtjärn offers simpler provisions in its shop. Here you can only pay in cash.
