Brennhammaren – easy 6 km
Nature of the tour: Easy walking tour in forest, on rock outcrops and over moraine ridges with a view of Lake Femunden.
Length of the tour: approx. 6 km
Total climb: approx. 200 m
Special for the trip: The unexpectedly magnificent 360-degree view and the opportunity to seek shelter in the hut at the top.
Things to think about/tips: It can be wet on the bogs below the mountain and the tour should preferably be done clockwise. If you use the hut maintained by Elgå sports team, you are expected to leave it in good condition.
If you want to make an extra detour, there is a nice little waterfall a couple of hundred meters up the trail towards Elgåhogna.
Tour map. Recommended map: Femunden nord 1:50,000 Height curves, equidistant 10 m.
