Elgåhogna 1460 m above sea level – medium/difficult 12 km
Nature of the tour: Hiking with a lot of ascent on varying surfaces. From dirt road to blocky terrain. It is the area's highest peak, so expect many breaks along the way.
Length of the tour: approx. 12 km
Total ascent: approx. 700 m
Special for the tour: The beautiful stretch along Björbecken with rapids and falls and the view of the entire Grövelsjöfjällen from the area's highest point.
Things to think about/tips: If the weather changes and clouds settle on the top, it's a nice trip to round the forepeak south of Björbecken's springs.

Hiking description
From Storsätern, it is approx. 27 km by car to the Norwegian side, road 221 to the starting point. The car park is just before the farm Dalset. From the parking lot, follow the signs and the red-marked trail to the top.
From the top, you go the same way back, alternatively go unguided south from the top (according to the map image) and then connect to the trail just above the tree line.
