Fly fishing in Storån
The Storån meanders through a varied landscape in Norra Dalarna between Lake Särsjön in the northwest and down to the confluence with the Töfsingån in the southeast.
North of Storån is the magnificent Töfsingdalen National Park with an almost untouched natural forest with pine trees over 400 years old. The Storån passes a number of small lakes or so-called "mocks". The area has long been well visited by fishermen.
In Storån, only fly fishing applies, that is, fishing with a fly rod, fly line and fly. As Storån is located in a nature reserve, in addition to the public right, additional regulations apply to visitors.
