Special for the tour: The fantastic view from the top over the surrounding mountains and waterways.

The trip to Gröhogna follows the same route up as down. Starting from Bryggan in Sylen, you walk along a signposted path towards Grötådalen. Along the road/path you walk past the farms Sylseth, Rywang and Sylen. On the hike, you pass two bridges over the watercourses Grövelån and Röa. At the latter there are nice tent sites if you want to take your time and stay overnight.
When the path approaches the tree line, it's time to turn off towards the top. Then follow the easiest way up. Take it easy, stop and turn around a few times and enjoy the view that increases with every meter of ascent. Once at the top there is a rather large cairn and it is usually easy to find a leeward side of the wind. The top is large and flat so it's worth walking around a bit and looking at the view
