Nature of the tour: Easy hiking mountain tour that combines boating with hiking. The hike up/down at Sylen is rocky in parts, but the rest of the tour is a very easy hike.

Special for the trip: That you get to experience the entire Grövelsjön during the boat trip and nice views during the hike between Sweden and Norway.
Things to think about/tips: Look out for the German bomber that is in Grövelsjön on the Norwegian side of the border.

From the jetty in Sylen, you follow the gravel road until signs towards Grövelsjön and a red-marked trail take hold. From here it's a shorter, stony, steep section in parts, but don't despair, it will soon be an easy hike. As soon as you reach the tree line, you have a nice view of the valley and Grövelån's outlet into Grövelsjön. The path is clear and takes you along Linné's route back to the southern end of Grövelsjön.
