An all-day trip for the family, or a longer exercise round on groomed ski tracks.

A track mark is required on groomed ski trails. These can be purchased at establishments in the area. In excursion tracks, it is permitted to use mountain sledges. Leashed dogs are welcome, with the exception of dog sleds.

Start at one of the area's facilities. The tour runs along prepared double track for classic skating and skating. Choose between making it a full-day trip for the family or a proper exercise round.

The tour passes the village of Storsätern, Lövåsgården, Grövelfjäll, STF Grövelsjön, Sjöstugan, Västerbäcken and Storsätra Fjällhotell.

If you want to do a shorter trip, you can turn off at the starting point Lövåsen towards Storsätern vid Grövelfjäll, approx. 12 km. At the starting point Sjöstugan/STF Grövelsjön, you can turn off towards Storsätern about 1.5 km from Grövelfjäll, a total of about 12 km.

Short stretch that is partially open also for snowmobiling (the tracks are separate but run parallel).

In Storsätern, the track passes just behind Fjällbua, a suitable detour for provisioning.
