A perfect try on a trip, or family outing. The tour follows prepared tracks.

A track mark is required on groomed ski trails. These can be purchased at facilities in the area. In excursion tracks, it is permitted to use mountain sledges. Leashed dogs are welcome, with the exception of dog sleds.

Description

Start at Sjöstugan, and ski via the bridge over Grövlan. Follow the cross-marked trail towards Silverfallet. The trail takes you up the calf mountain. In certain weather conditions, the track up the Calf mountain can become very icy or drift again. Take it carefully or choose the track that goes via the snow bridge back to Sjöstugan along Grövlan.

At Olån's wind shelter (slog shed) with a fireplace, you can take the opportunity to grill sausages.

Continue the journey towards Valdalsbygget or Storsätern. During most of the winter there is a snow bridge over Grövlan, next to the road. Via it you can also ski towards Grövelfjäll, Västerbäcken and Lövåsen.
