A perfect “Try Out” route or family excursion! The route follows prepared ski tracks
In prepared ski-tracks, a ski-pass is required. These can be purchased at all facilities in the area. In the Excursion-tracks you may ski with a pulk. Leashed dogs are welcome, with the exception of dog-sledges

Start at Sjöstugan and take the bridge over Grövlan. Follow the marked trail to Silverfallet The trail takes you to the open mountain During some weather conditions the track over the open mountain can become very hard and icy. Be careful or chose the track that goes over the snow-bridge over Grövlan, by the road, back to Sjöstugan.
At Olån’s shelter, with fireplace, you can take advantage and grill sausages.
Continue the journey towards Valdalsbygget or Storsätern. During most of the winter there is a snow bridge over Grövlan, next to the road. Via this you can also ski to Grövelfjäll, Västerbäcken and Lövåsen.
